               son William M. Owen's children:
                     Richard R., Mary J., and Sarah A.
     (Thomas N.  James M. and Benjamin were probably minors as the
          will asks the exec. to provide a "good english education, cost to
          be paid by the estate.)

     Wit.   E. M. Ryland and A. M. Henning
     Exec. Benidict Thomas and George Houx named in will. (Geo. Houx
               refused to serve)
     Sec.  Elisha Green and James Bounds
     Heirs: Wife Mary, son John, only child by 2nd wife Mary
               Children Joseph and Mary by first wife
               2nd wife Mary given $200.00 and all property real and
               personal which I acquired by right of being her husband"
               son John given $300.00
               Joseph and Mary, children by 1st marriage left remainder
               of estate equally. The exec. were to bring daughter Mary
               from St. Louis to Lexington and place her with a worthy
               person to learn the use of needle and other implements.
               (Person to be appointed by County Court) Son Joseph to be
               bound an apprentice to some mechanical trade. Exec. to
               select subject and be approved by County Court. Any
               money belonging to Mary and Joseph to be put out on interest
               until they become of age or Mary marries.
